Locally printed school books
For many years, teachers in Nosy Komba had to teach without adequate textbooks, writing entire lessons on the blackboard for students to copy. These texts are often in French, a language most children do not fully master, making it difficult for them to understand lessons and actively engage in learning.
In 2020, teachers suggested to print their own exercise books at a local cybercafé. What began as a small initiative quickly grew into a community-led project to produce and distribute schoolbooks locally.
